Get to know Internist Dr. Christopher Holewinski, who serves patients in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Dr. Holewinski is a well-versed internist who joined CHI Health Clinic Hospital Medicine at Mercy Hospital on September 1st of 2013. Prior to joining CHI Health Clinic and attending medical school, Dr. Holewinski was a graduate of the Creighton University School of Pharmacy. He practiced as a Clinical Infectious Disease Pharmacist at the Corpus Christi Infusion Center in Texas, and as a Clinical Pharmacist at CHI Health Immanuel in Nebraska. In 2010, he graduated with his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then went on to perform his residency in internal medicine at Corpus Christi Medical Center. A Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Internists (FACOI), the doctor is board-certified in internal medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine (AOBIM). The AOBIM is an organization that provides board certification to qualified Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine who specialize in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disease in adults.
